Most people begin with six sessions of art therapy, once a week, and then we can see how things are going after that.
When people come to see me, they tend to either use the art materials and make something spontaneous, or sometimes I can suggest a theme or something that would be helpful for you to draw or make if you feel stuck.
There isn’t any pressure to make good art, it is more important you create something that expresses your feelings. I have a private comfortable room in which I work.
You will find a variety of different art materials laid out for you to use. Some of the art materials I provide include paints, soft and oil pastels, coloured pencils and pens, collage, sand tray and clay. If you aren’t familiar with any of the art materials, I can show you how to use them.
